Dagmar has been in the veterinary field since 2001 when she decided that the corporate finance and banking world was not her true calling. Making the leap of faith to follow her passion, she decided that working with animals is where she belongs. After taking a day off, she snuck into the MDVMA Summer meeting and passed out her resume in the exhibit hall, and got her first position with a small, regional distributor. Since that time, she enjoyed nearly 20 years as a top-performing distribution and manufacturer sales rep in the Mid Atlantic region before going to work for a major corporate consolidator for several years. She has finally found the “perfect home” with Simmons MA-GL where all facets of her career experience come together. She is excited to assist and support veterinarians in their ownership transition process, practice appraisals and business consultation.
Dagmar graduated from THE Ohio State University with a degree in Finance and minors in Marketing and Real Estate. She recently earned her CEPA designation to further her expertise in exit planning strategy.
She lives in Perryman, MD with her husband (a fellow ‘ recovering triathlete ‘ ) and an evolving pack of golden retrievers.
